IUB Photography Competition
April 10th, 2007I’ve entered two photos, which I’ll show later, into my school’s photo kontesto. (See full post to see photos)
First place for each category wins $75, second wins $50, and third place wins $25. The catagories are: Color, Black & White, Digital Prints/other photographic mediums. A rather boring choice in my opinion. There was no way to select the catagory of the submitted photos, so I wonder how they will discern the difference between a digital print and a film one.
Update 4/12: Apparently I’m in three photos that I did not take.
Winning the money would be nice (actually, great), but I think the recognition is better. Bragging rights ftw.
Anyway, if you’re in the area, the photos will be shown at the Illini Union art gallery starting on April 12 until April 23. The winners are announced on the 19th. Wish me luck!

Meh. I submitted it for the heck of it. I had a harder time coming up with a title for the chicks. Johnny wanted to call it “hot chicks,” which just goes to show how much thought he puts into naming things.
