because of circumstantial suspicion and the cops needing to uphold the public’s orderly conduct, you’d probably be arrested. because, once the cop gives the verbal signal or any signal for that matter for you to stop, and you continue to run… you technically would be attempting to elude a police officer or fleeing. any sort of action that is disobeying the officer’s request for you to stop/come to him, whether it be walking, running, crawling, moonwalking away… once the officer has commanded you to do otherwise, this is an obstruction of justice and is unlawful.
