Battle for the Ring
Anyone who’s been to the South Quad behind Foellinger Auditorium should know that the school is currently in the process of constructing a clock tower. Some may have also noticed a slight resemblence to Barad-dûr, the tower of Sauron.
This resemblance didn’t really stick with me until I walked home from classes one day. The medieval weapons fighting club were practicing around the tower, when I suddenly noticed it. The Sun Eye of Sauron was hovering over the tower, and in this light, I could see the forces of good and evil fighting.
