So, I’ve just finished one of my angrier weeks of class. As of now, I am finished with one final and the bulk of my classwork for my other classes. I’m not really proud of what I’ve achieved this week, but relieved that it’s over.

A Chinese test, an Accounting Quiz, a Chinese vocabulary quiz, a Japanese vocabulary quiz, a Japanese final exam, my final Japanese interview project presentation, and yet another Chinese group presentation – alongside any regular schoolwork and my job over at Bevier = not a happy James week. But it’s all in the past now. I am done! (for the most part.) Now only a couple more finals and a test or two remain!

In more important news, I was over at Meijer recently shopping for groceries. I finally decided to buy some new socks after my old pairs’ recent trend of getting all holey. And I must say… new socks are definitely a treat for the toesies. It’s like walking with smooth baby feet. Glorious. Absolutely glorious.

Yes, I play the Dotas. Being the geek that I am, I’ve been playing for quite some time now. With my great wisdom over the years, as of Dota version 6.57b, I can say with great confidence that the Invoker is the ultimate hero. Maybe not the ultimate, but at least pretty darn close.

Unfortunately, this is a rather long post, so if you are not into Dota, I suggest you do not read this. (Sorry, I’ll will return with some witty litany at a later time.)

~50 degrees last night.

~5 degrees this morning.

What the heck.

Back at the ol’ homestead again. Nothing has really changed in the year or so I’ve been gone. The snow’s missed me apparently, as it’s been piling on our driveway and porch. Did I mention my back hurts now? Shoveling over and over again = repetitive stress injuries.

Eating well, perhaps a little too well. Met with some local friends I haven’t seen in a while. Nothing special.

But I have some plans in store…

I’m working on an animation and it has a few birdies in it. This is one of the birds that fly by. Only consists of 3 main frames, but I figured it looked nice enough to work. After having made this, I looked at some videos of some real birds flying.

They don’t fly this way. Heh. I should prolly look up reference before I do these things. It’s good enough to pass though! And that’s what matters most, no?
