Bacon Cheddar Gordita Crunch

bacongordita

TacoBell’s latest creation of evil- The Bacon Cheddar Gordita Crunch.

After having the pleasure of trying the Bacon Cheddar Gordita Crunch yesterday, I can tell you a few things.
#1: The Bacon Cheddar Gordita Crunch is very fattening. 600 calories yo.
#2: The Bacon Cheddar Gordita Crunch is honestly nothing special. Cheese, cheap meat, some bacon, tortilla, and lettuce.
#3: That being said, the Bacon Cheddar Gordita Crunch is baconlicious. Have I mentioned it enough for you?

Final verdict, it’s worth eating. Prolly wouldn’t eat too many though. I feel its nutritional values are geared towards giving me cancer.

Not so Innocent White

Apparently even white (and green) tea has a lot more caffeine than one would think. Then again, maybe the several cups of tea this evening did the trick.

I just realized I’ve been up until now (4:13AM) playing some stupid flash game online. I have no idea how it managed to amuse me for this long. Only when I finished it did I realize how stupid it was.

Oh dear. Nice way to settle my sleep schedule for the new semester, eh?

Sugar Cookies, yo.

http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Easy-Sugar-Cookies/Detail.aspx

It’s been the second time I’ve used this recipe. It’s actually really good. If you’re interested in making some sugar cookies, give this recipe a try.

Protip: Make sure the butter and sugar are WELL creamed together. Butter lumps = angry.

And apparently, adding cinnamon is also quite delicious. For a single batch, you could prolly get away with more than half a tablespoon.

I prolly should’ve taken a picture before I started munching on em.

Easy Pasta, yo.

I don’t have exact measurements, but I’m sure you’ll manage. This is James tested and approved.

Things you need:

A 16oz box of pasta of your choice - I prefer rotini.
About 25-30oz of chicken broth- Usually around 2 cans, maybe 3 of the smaller ones. Fat free/Sodium free works fine too.
**Some Kielbasa/Polish Sausage chopped as small as you want it
**A handful of fresh spinach, rinsed and loosely chopped/torn
Half a carton of white button mushrooms, rinsed and chopped
Small clove of garlic, mashed and obliterated
Salt, peppa, standard mixed dried herbs, and olive oil

**How much of each you put in determines whether it becomes a spinach pasta, or a sausage one. You don’t really need a lot of sausage. Its to flavor the spinach and mushrooms more than anything.

Boil broth in a pot. Add pasta.
When pasta is half done, fry up sausage in a separate skillet on high heat.
When meat starts to brown/burny, add mushrooms and continue to toss around.
Add some peppa and some salt (depends whether your chicken broth is salt-free or not).
As soon as shrooms start to get soft and brown, toss in garlic bits and spinach. Change to medium-low heat.
As spinach starts to green up and lose it’s firmness, pour a couple tablespoons worth of leftover chicken broth from the pasta pot into the skillet.
Swish around, and season to taste.
Dump pasta in, and some herb seasoning. Change to high heat.
Once everything is mixed, sprinkle olive oil and serve

Should feed 3 guys or 12 gals.

In other news, I need to buy a new camera so I can take pictures of this stuff. I should’ve taken a picture for this, but we accidently ate too quickly.
