Graduated.

Wow. Four years went by real quick. High school went by quick and my college career went by even quicker.

For those of you yet to enter college, I implore you to attend a large university. It doesn’t matter whether the university is in the middle of cornfields (like mine) or not. When a university is large, you can gain so much experiences through the people you meet and the events you attend. The University of Illinois for example, has a very large student base, and with it many clubs and organizations. I personally have interest in anime, so I joined a club, and met many good friends there. While I don’t watch much anime now, the friendships I’ve made I continue to value today.

While I don’t regret the path my education has taken, I can not help but wonder if my current jorbless could be alleviated by having taken a different, more-money-making major. But no worries, I’m sure my life will still be awesome. As for my current status, I have yet to nab meself a proper salaried job, so I’ll be staying on campus to continue my hourly position until my lease runs out or I locate an opportunity. While those near may have seen me pout and complain, I’m not as nearly as distressed as I make myself out to be. I know I’ll manage, and I know I won’t die. I figure that I’m still young, and I don’t have to stress about future responsibilities quite so soon. While my parents want me to take more school, they are surprisingly supportive of my current situation.

So even though I’ve graduated, it wasn’t as life-changing of an event it may have been for other people. I’ve been paying bills and rent, buying my own groceries, and earning my own money for a while now. I still have my same apartment, job, and friends. I think I can deal with it. Good luck to everyone else!

(A bit late, but you know how lazy I am.)
