I was offered a position as a IT Support Technician at a company upstate. I’d be doing less work and speaking Japanese for more money. I did a lot of thinking and weighed my options.
In the end, I’ve decided to stay on campus and try my luck here. Being a recent graduate, I felt the best place to transition out of college was, well… college. I enjoy the campus and all the friends I’ve made here way too much.
I guess receiving a raise helped too.
W-w-what?! You turned down a job where you could speak Japanese and get paid well? I mean, I guess I can’t judge you too much because I stayed on campus too (due to the boyfriend situation, not the job situation). I guess, it’s good that you’re okay with your decision though. I have a hard time with that. Sometimes I still regret turning down JET
I’m so angry.
