Initial Encounter

Initial Encounter

I got my first cellphone when I was 18. I was moving on to college from high school, and my parents figured it was the natural course of things to do. After I got my phone, which at the time was a dinky Samsung flip phone, I decided to set up my voice mail. I recorded my message, and then played it back for review.

I was shocked. I always knew my voice was badass, but I had never really heard it from an outside perspective. The voice you hear is different from the one others hear, and I had truly experienced it for the first time. There’s no point describing it words, so I’ll save you the attempt. I was hot.

That day, I must have replayed my greeting at least 50 times.

  2. Jimbo says:

Why would you think that? It looks nothing like your sports face.

Heh. Whereas, if I say “hi” correctly, I apparently sound like a girl. XD

Also, you should sign up to try to get google voice. Then you can record as many different copies of your voice mail greeting as you desire. And assign different ones to different people…

I do have google voice. Unfortunately I haven’t given out my number to really use it. :( I should prolly fiddle around with it.
