One thing I’ve noticed (at least around here anyway,) is that nobody really cares if you’re half something white and half something else white.

“Hi, I’m half-German and half-British.” Boring.
“I’m part Italian and Polish.” Boring.

But someone 100% asian is another matter.
“You’re half Thai and half Vietnamese?! OMG, I never knew!”
