I don’t know if age makes you more daring, but I had believed that it was among the general opinion that one should partake in the confines of his own room, if not at least in private.

So when Mr. G came to me looking for some technological assistance, I was more than happy to oblige. As he sat by me watching me work my magic, I guess he must have felt the urge once again. “The chance to do it behind his back! Oh the rush and excitement!” Is what I assume must have been running through his mind.

I turned to explain something to him, and we locked eyes for a moment with my hands still on the laptop. His was resting on the table, while the other was firmly resolved to find a treasure lodged deep in his nose. I turned back to the laptop. It was for a split second, a blip, but the moment was undeniable. The finger that was digging just a second before had stilled. The silence between our eyes could not have been longer. I saw him. He knew I saw him. He was embarrassed. I knew he was embarrassed. The moment I turned my back to him, I could sense his face glowing redder with delicious shame. He tries to recover, and presses me to continue my explanation, but the damage is done. He knows I will never view him in the same light again. And I know he knows. Muhahaha.

Was it worth it my friend?

This resemblance didn’t really stick with me until I walked home from classes one day. The medieval weapons fighting club were practicing around the tower, when I suddenly noticed it. The <del datetime="2008-09-10T01:12:33+00:00">Sun</del> Eye of Sauron was hovering over the tower, and in this light, I could see the forces of good and evil fighting.

We stayed over at Chris’, another friend’s house.

Bretto and I participated in a pizza eating contest over at Talayna’s, a restaurant near St. Louis. The challenge was to eat a 30 inch pizza with 5 meat toppings and drink a pitcher of soda within one hour. We failed gloriously. The feat is simply impossible. Brett and I barely managed to put away about a sixth before we called it quits. Our leftovers alone were about 25 pounds of pizza. I will have leftovers for days.

Went to see the Arch. The elevator (or tram) going up to the top is very small. Cost 10 dollars. St. Louis, unfortunately, is not a very picturesque city. It does not have many high rise buildings, and from the view at the top of the Arch, the only notable buildings are the two stadiums and the old courthouse. Don’t bother looking towards the East side. There’s nothing there. ‘Cept maybe slums.

Ate at the Feisty Bulldog near the Arch. Watched Brett put away several breaded whole catfish for the restaurant’s all-you-can-eat fish-and-chips.

Blargh.

Also roamed St. Louis downtown proper, played with Chris’ doggy, and sucked at a lot of pinball games.

Played Risk: LOTR Edition this past Mondy. I was on the forces of evil along with another friends, and we got owned horribly. That’s the problem with movies you see, the baddies always lose. So apparently, the odds were already stacked against me. It wasn’t that I sucked ass, the game just was biased. Of course, of course.

Played some Clue Tuesdy night. Haven’t played in a while. Played as Miss Peach and I was the one to make the correct accusation. Turns out I was the killer. Now in a real life context, since I won, would this mean I get away with the crime or kill everyone? Seeing as how if you make an incorrect accusation you lose (die) the game, I figured if the killer wins the game, naturally he/she’d kill everyone.

I also find the fact the killer doesn’t know he is the killer ’till the very end. The killer is so good, he doesn’t even know he did it. Thats Qrazy.
