I usually don’t pay insults any attention, but when someone says things about the food I’m eating, it hits me on a deeper level.

Protip: When trying an unidentified pepper, take a modest bite. Rather than being LEEEROOOOY JENKINS and biting halfway where all the seeds are.

I did not need any coffee or tea that morning. I was burninating.

Many professors at my department grow crops for their research. After their sampling, there is still quite a bit of produce left, so they’ll often bring in their harvest and share it with other faculty and staff. One such professor is growing peppers, hence my recent encounter with them.

Protip: Don’t touch your face after dealing with hot peppers. ESPECIALLY IF YOU SCOOPED THE SEEDS OUT BY HAND.

Yeah, washing your hands don’t help as much as you think they would. Even if you were thorough, it only takes just a teeny bit clinging to your finger or nail to give your eyes rage.

And on a related note, I have a monkeyload of peppers at home right now.

There’s something about eating your lunch really quick that leaves you terribly unsatisfied.
