pacific time. Still counts, darn it!

Anyways, a friend came to visit. Planned to go to some thing. Went to the thing. Didn’t stay for the thing. Went to a swing semi formal instead. I was not dressed. Not even semi.

Still, had a enjoyable time of it, pretending to be shy, dancing and not dancing. Truthfully, I’ve been making excuses for a long time on attending these sort of events. I’m glad I found the reason. That one girl got me to shut up reeel quick.

~~Post Later.~~ I was hoping to have finished before midnight, but I failed.

So this was an idea for a potent joke I came up with years ago. The key was to time this with your actual departure, so that you would have no reason to return. And by not returning, the rest of the party is left with confusion over the whole ordeal. And of course, the person you deploy this attack on will be left even more confused, and will have a barrage of questions aimed at him.

I’ve been meaning to write this post for a while, but I’ve been distracted lately. hehe.

Remember this comic? Well now, I get to say I’ve completed one of my lifetime goals.

Kyle, a friend, got me in touch with Chrystal, the owner of cleangeeks.com Over at her site, she features her handmade soaps, shampoos, conditioners, and lotions. The cool part is that she makes game controller shaped soaps that come in different soda scents.

After reading my comic, Kyle had asked her if she would be interested in making a line of grape soda scented products in addition to her regular line. She thought it would be a good idea, and sent me a complimentary bottle of grape soda shampoo and a NES controller soap bar! I was very much, “Yay!” to hear this; I honestly had no idea that soda scented soaps existed at all!

AND IT'S IN A CRUSH BOTTLE!!

When I got her package, I could smell the Grapey-ness even before I ripped it open. And when I took the bottle out, I had to fight the temptation to take a gulp of the shampoo right there. Being the geek that I am, I actually still have my Nintendo with me, so here’s a comparison photo- My controller is on top, and the soap is below. A bit smaller, but looks great, as you can see.

I’ll prolly keep the controller for novelty’s sake, but I’ve been using the shampoo for a few days now. It smells amazing in the shower, and I smell wonderful out of the shower. I catch whiffs of my grapey hair throughout the day, and it is absolutely lovely. Gives me soda cravings.

Check out her page, even if grape soda’s not your thing. The last time I checked, I saw Mountain Dew and Dr. Pepper scented products in addition to grape soda. And I also spotted a Companion cube soap, that could use some serious companionship. It makes scents! Ho ho! I made a funny!
