Friend doodles.

Asked to draw a picture of Kyle meeting Andrew Hussie (Creator of MSPaint Adventures) last week. Didn’t know how Mr. Hussie looked, improvised with homestuck character. Tried fresh “style” for Kyle. (heh, that rhymes.) Then I had the idea I should draw some other friends, while attempting to emulate the style of a comic/manga/animation they enjoy. There will most likely be at least one more, but here are the current ones:

WAUUGHHH!!! Kyle meets Homestuck

Graham - Penny Arcade

Anju - Scott Pilgrim

Shin-san - Kindaichi Case Files

Graham thinks I made him look homeless. I cannot disagree.

Friend Doodles 2

I have a couple more coming, but honestly, I’ve been drained of creative juices, so who knows when I’ll get to em. Here are the ones I managed to pump out. You’ll notice, two are crudely drawn. That’s because they specified “anime” as their style. lawl. I look at them and can’t help but laugh. Click to biggerize.

Stephanie - Rozen Maiden

Bhargav - Scott Pilgrim

Michelle - Ouran Host Club

David - Anime

Jacob - Anime - lol

Joe - Studio Ghibli

What I’ve learned while drawing these, besides finding out I draw quickly and grow bored otherwise, is that I can draw just about anything I want, as long as I set my mind to it. Self-confidence +1!

Cleangeeks.com – Soap for Geeks!

I’ve been meaning to write this post for a while, but I’ve been distracted lately. hehe.

Remember this comic? Well now, I get to say I’ve completed one of my lifetime goals.

Kyle, a friend, got me in touch with Chrystal, the owner of cleangeeks.com Over at her site, she features her handmade soaps, shampoos, conditioners, and lotions. The cool part is that she makes game controller shaped soaps that come in different soda scents.

After reading my comic, Kyle had asked her if she would be interested in making a line of grape soda scented products in addition to her regular line. She thought it would be a good idea, and sent me a complimentary bottle of grape soda shampoo and a NES controller soap bar! I was very much, “Yay!” to hear this; I honestly had no idea that soda scented soaps existed at all!

AND IT'S IN A CRUSH BOTTLE!!
