I usually don’t pay insults any attention, but when someone says things about the food I’m eating, it hits me on a deeper level.

Protip: Don’t touch your face after dealing with hot peppers. ESPECIALLY IF YOU SCOOPED THE SEEDS OUT BY HAND.

Yeah, washing your hands don’t help as much as you think they would. Even if you were thorough, it only takes just a teeny bit clinging to your finger or nail to give your eyes rage.

And on a related note, I have a monkeyload of peppers at home right now.

Watched Ninja Assassin with friends on Sunday. It was a great movie, albeit bloody. Although I guess that’s part of what made the movie humorous and enjoyable. The above comic highlights one of parts I found pretty hilarious.

Raizo, the antagonist protagonist gets hit on the head during a sparring session and winces from what he thought was pain. The master corrects him lovingly.

I work in the building that also hosts the Child Care Resource Service. And as such, there are a lot of parents with kids that walk in and out of the building. While I was up there waiting for a member of the CCRS staff, a child was looking at me.

I smiled, and he started giggling. I started making some funny faces, and he started laughing at me. Then he starting laughing hard. Really hard. So hard that he started crying. Bawling, in fact. His mom gives me a look and starts asking her son what’s wrong. Luckily I was able to do my work then, and didn’t have to face the mother.

I think I made the kid laugh too hard and he hurt something.
